This past Saturday, I had the privilege of speaking to a gathering of the Houston Court Reporters Association on the subject of “Ethical Issues Facing Texas Court Reporters.” This well-attended function was part of the HCRA’s continuing effort to bring current topics before its members for discussion.  Having begun my career in the courts as a court reporter, I was honored to be asked to participate in this continuing education seminar and, at the same time, renew acquantances with some of my oldest and dearest friends.
